I can't believe it...
I just realized today that Chip and I have been working out consistently for the last 6 weeks.  I know this may not seem like a big deal to those of you who have always worked out, but for me and Chip it is a great accomplishment.  Not only have we been working out, we're going every day.  We work out for at least 30 minutes every day and at least 3 of our workouts during the week are an hour.  We have skipped a few days, but no more than one a week and every day except one that we skipped, we at least took a walk.  The only day we skipped completely was last Sunday because we had to finish stuff for the Super Bowl party in the morning, went to church at noon, people came over right after church for the party, and then by the time we got cleaned up at 9:30, we were both exhausted.  But, other than that one day, we really have been good.  The other thing that surprises me is that the one day we didn't work out didn't lead to more than one day.  Usually, we take a day off, then it becomes 2, etc.  But, that hasn't happened yet.  I'm really hoping that we continue this.  As much as I don't want to work out most days, I know it's good for both of us.  So, we'll see how we're doing in a few months, but for now, we're doing great.

YAH!!!! So impressed and proud of you both!!! Mike and I have started working out again, but it hasn't been consistent. Seems like every time we start to get into a routine, we go away for a weekend or something comes up and we dont end up going. They say it takes 21 days to form a habit and 3 days to break one. I totally agree. If like you said you have gone consistently every day for more than 21 days it has become habit. As soon as you don't go for like 3 days in a row you just don't go anymore. Maybe I can use some of your inspiration to rub off on us :-) GO YOU!!!

Wow!! Very impressive. I wish that some of your motivation could rub off on me. Good luck with keeping it up.

good work girl! keep it up. if you decide not to go to the gym, at least go on a 30 minute walk around the neighborhood. it's good to get out and get some fresh air, and 30 minutes isn't a lot of time that you could have used for another purpose.

Yeah, that's what we've done the few days we haven't gone to the fitness center, except last Sunday. We're trying to limit that to one day a week, so we don't get in the habit of taking a walk instead of going to the fitness center. I agree though, it's not that much time and San Diego usually has nice weather, so chances are it will be pretty outside. We need to catch up soon. The next two weeks are a little busy with school, work, V-day, and Mom & Rebecca are coming into town. However, I'm really flexible during the day, so if you want to call and chat, give me a ring.
