A Great Saturday
Yesterday was a very good day. Chip and I woke up a little earlier than usual so we could take Michael Crotty to the airport. But, it meant that our Saturday was a lot longer than usual. We ran by Office Depot to pick up some clear labels for our wedding album and then came home and ate lunch. It was a beautiful day outside, so we decided to go to the park to play some games. We walked over there and began by playing Bocce Ball. Then we played with this paddle and ball set we got for Easter. It's called Sonic Smash and everytime you hit the ball with one of these paddles it sounds like a drum. We had a great time and we even got a little exercise running after the ball. Then we layed down on the blanket and I fell asleep while Chip played with his new Blackberry. We walked back to the apartment, ate dinner, and decided to watch the movie we had rented...After the Sunset. It had a good cast, but the plot was a little silly and strange. It was entertaining. We then decided to go get some Baskin Robbins. After we ate our ice cream, we came back to the apartment and went and sat in the hot tub for a little while. That is one nice thing about living here. All of the apartment complexes have hot tubs and typically the weather is nice enough to sit in them. We finally ended the day by watching Sum of All Fears, which Chip had taped a few weeks ago. I love days like that, where you don't really have any plans and then everything you end up doing that day is fun or relaxing or just what you needed. That's pretty much how I felt about yesterday. A great Saturday!!
